Phoebe Guide: How to Make This Continuous Damage Queen Shine
Fellow players, today we’re bringing you an ultra-detailed guide on Phoebe, packed with actionable tips that will help you effortlessly carry your team in the game. As the first limited-time continuous damage resonator in Crescendo, Phoebe has a unique game mechanism and versatile output methods. Let’s unlock the full user manual for this queen together!
First, let’s get to know Phoebe’s basics. Phoebe is a 5-star character who uses a Sound Sensor, with attributes in Refraction and positioned as a damage dealer. She has two states: Absolution and Confession. In Absolution, Phoebe focuses on dealing damage, while in Confession, she applies the Refraction Weakness effect to enemies. The Refraction Weakness is a stackable debuff that periodically reduces its layers during its duration and deals Refraction damage to the target. The damage increases significantly with more stacks.
Phoebe can be used as either the main damage dealer or a sub-DPS. When used as the main output, it’s recommended that you or your teammate first apply the Refraction Weakness effect to the enemy, then switch to Absolution for high-damage output. As a sub-DPS, Phoebe can efficiently apply Refraction Weakness effects in Confession while dealing damage from off-field. Overall, Phoebe is like an essential element in the game—something you must have.
Next, let’s look at Phoebe’s skill priority. When it comes to skill points, we need to focus on “priority,” much like eating—when hungry, you eat the main course first, not dessert. First and foremost is Resonance Circuit, which must be maxed out. It can double Phoebe’s output capability. Next is Resonance Release, which is also crucial as it directly affects your ability to carry. Following that are Resonance Skill and Variation Skill, which can be moderately invested in but have a lower priority than the first two. Finally, basic attacks can be allocated with any remaining points.
In terms of weapon choices, Phoebe primarily uses Sound Sensors. Here are some recommended weapons:
Luminous Hymn: This weapon is essentially tailor-made for Phoebe. With a base attack of 500 and a critical rate of 36%, it meets Phoebe’s output needs. Its weapon effect is also customized for her: a 12% attack boost, and when attacking targets with the added Light Noise effect, both normal and heavy attacks gain a 14% damage bonus (can stack up to 3 layers, lasting 6 seconds). When using the Echo skill, targets around the on-field characters in the team receive 30% increased Light Noise effect damage for 30 seconds (same effects cannot stack).
Stringmaster and Rime-Draped Sprouts are also excellent choices. Stringmaster provides full attribute damage and attack boosts, allowing Phoebe to maintain high output whether she’s on-field or off-field. Rime-Draped Sprouts, on the other hand, provides additional normal attack damage when Phoebe uses her Resonance Skill. This effect can stack up to 3 layers, lasting 6 seconds, and triggers a powerful buff when fully stacked.
If you don’t currently have access to a 5-star weapon, don’t worry. Augment (Clear Sound), Ocean’s Gift, Waltz in Masquerade, and Fusion Accretion are all excellent 4-star alternatives. While they may not be as powerful as 5-star weapons, they can still meet Phoebe’s basic needs.
